Weekend Itinerary
FRIDAY, OCT 7, 2016
9:00AM—2:00PM EDUCATION DAY
Open invitation to a closer look at Civil War. Everyone is invited to attend all weekend events.  Homeschoolers, schools, groups, clubs are encouraged to participate in History Tours beginning at the Registration Tent.  Guests are invited to an interactive tour of the Park and enjoy historic interpretation of Civil War by visiting the Museum (open from 9-5) and talk with reenactors. Demonstrations of camp life, soldier instruction, period dance, and cannon firing

5:00PM—OPENING CEREMONY (Shelter A Scenic Overlook)
Enjoy a Community Picnic of Hotdogs, Popcorn, Drinks compliments of First Community Bank of the Heartland; Apples with Carmel, Cotton Candy compliments of Clinton Bank; Trail Mix and Balloons compliments of River Valley Ag.  Opening Remarks by Hickman County Judge-Executive Kenny Wilson & Park Manager Cindy Lynch. Music Performance by Will Triplett, Mountain Man Mafia, and and the 52nd Regimental String Band.  Opening Ceremony will close with an explosive display of Cannon Volleys.  Ghost Walk is held in the Confederate Trenches at the conclusion of the Cannon Volleys (near Shelter B, left of Snack Shop).

SATURDAY, OCT 8, 2016
9:00AM—Civil War Camps, Sutlery Shops, and Civil War Museum Opens
10:00AM— Enjoy Cider & Cookies compliments of the Citizens Deposit Bank of Arlington and Bardwell

10:00AM— Snack Bar and Mini Golf Opens
(pay for Golf at the Snack Bar)
10:00AM—1:30PM History Tours.
(Log Shelter in Parking Lot) (Log Shelter, Parking Lot) Discover Trail of Tears, Forts, Redoubt, Historic and Nature Trails
11:00AM– 
LADIES TEA (Conference Center) Enjoy refreshments, Music with Denise
McWhorter, Will & Sheryl Triplett, &  General Leonidas Polk portrayed by Br. Alan Farley) hosted by The Clinton Women’s Club (Short Walk or Shuttle Pick Up near Registration Table)
12:00PM-Officers Call w/ Commanding Officer Gene Bolin /Reenactors Only (Museum Lawn)
1:30-Pre Battle Music & Commentary
(Battlefield)
2:00PM-CIVIL WAR SKIRMISH
(Battlefield) Please stay off the Battlefield during the skirmish. Enjoy a Music Performance with The Berryhills after the Battle (Museum Porch)
3:pm til close—
Enjoy Snack Bar, Museum, Mini Golf, Sutlery Shops, Vendors, Trails, Scenic Overlooks, Setting Sunset. Tour the Park, Discover the Civil War Museum, Eat at any of the many Food Vendors and Shop Period Sutlers, Play Mini-Golf, and Take a History Tour, or Hike the Redoubts where soldiers once walked
4:pm-5:pm Reenactors Trade Blanket
(Redoubt, near Museum) Buy, Sell, Trade—Period items only
7:30PM-Beautiful Belle and Handsome Gent contest

8:00PM-CIVIL WAR BALL (Shelter B) Enjoy Music and Dance instruction by the 52nd Regimental String Band. During Intermission—Best Beard and Scraggly Beard Contest
Park Gates Close at 11:00PM. All vehicles must be removed from Parking Lot

SUNDAY, OCT 9, 2016
8:30AM—Period Worship Service with Bro Alan Farley and  52nd Regimental String Band
9:00AM—Camps, Sutlers Shops, Museum Open
10:00AM—Memorial Service in Columbus Cemetery Witness Posting of the Flags,

Color Guard, Patriot Guard Riders, Rifle & Cannon Volley, Taps, Dixie Sing-Along, 52nd Regimental String Band, with Tilghman-Beauregard Camp #1460 Sons of the Confederate Veterans
10:am— Snack Shop and Mini Golf Opens (pay for Golf at the Snack Bar), Discover the Civil War Museum and Visit the Sutlery Shops
12:00PM—Officers Call / Reenactors only (Museum Lawn)
12:00PM—History Tours

Friday Museum Admission $2.00 Everyone; Sat/Sun Museum Admission $4/adult, $3/Seniors & Children; Children under age 6 Free Admission to the Museum, Registered Reenactors Free Museum Admission with a Pass.
